# API Grid

> Pay-per-call services for software agents. No account and no API key; payment is part of the request (x402, USDC on Base). Status: not yet accepting payment.

## Endpoint Reachability Probe (primary)
- Is an HTTPS endpoint reachable, and what HTTP status does it answer with? After payment settles, one GET request to the target; JSON verdict with exactly these fields: pass (true when the target answered with any HTTP status), target_status, truncated, abort_reason, verdict_source, resource, network, asset, payTo, amount, settle {txHash, mode}. The payment fields echo this call's terms and settlement.
- Endpoint: POST https://probe.apigrid.ch/v1/probe with body {"targetUrl":"https://…"} — Public HTTPS targets only: https on port 443, a hostname (no IP address, no user:password@) that resolves only to public IP addresses. Other URLs are refused with HTTP 400 before any payment is settled.
- Price: 0.10 USDC per call (100000 atomic, 6 decimals), x402 scheme exact, USDC on Base mainnet (eip155:8453).
- Status: not yet accepting payment. While locked, every call returns HTTP 503 live_fetch_locked, with no payment request and no settlement. Do not send funds.
- The verdict is an observation of one GET request at call time, not a certification, audit or conformance statement. It contains no secrets, payment signatures or credentials; it includes the public settlement transaction hash.

## Firmograph (coming soon)
- Company enrichment by domain (company-level public information only; not intended to process personal data).
- MCP endpoint: https://firmograph.apigrid.ch/mcp (streamable HTTP, POST). Official MCP Registry: io.github.apigrid-ch/firmograph 0.2.0.
- Status: not yet accepting payment. Calls return HTTP 503 live_fetch_locked; no payment is requested or taken. Pricing will be published when it goes live.

## Limits
- Machine-to-machine use. No coverage, accuracy, speed, uptime, customer or volume figures are published.
